Interactive Experience
This 3D projection-mapped exhibit was designed as a fully immersive experience to engage children in the origin story of the museum and spark excitement around science and exploration. Styled like an art gallery come to life, the installation features animated portraits, synchronized lighting, wind effects, and rich sound design—creating a cinematic, interactive moment in the museum. A preshow animation sets the scene, while a main show is triggered by the audience at the push of a button.
I led the project from concept to installation, managing the full production scope across five locations nationwide. My role included budgeting, scheduling, team hiring, hardware/software planning, and contractor coordination. I co-wrote the script and storyboard design, directed voice talent, supervised animation and audio mixing, and contributed hands-on to the visual development—including environmental graphics, posters, exhibit decor, and marketing materials.
The result is a dynamic storytelling environment that seamlessly blends theatrical technology with educational content, designed to surprise and delight young visitors while introducing them to the museum’s mission and exhibits.
